Rather than deriving inspiration from one particular source Jody Cornett prefers the 'hands on' approach
to design, playing with the materials and allowing the resulting forms to develop naturally.

Through Repetition, Connection and Space, traditional materials and techniques are given a
contemporary twist, to create unique and highly versatile units which, whether in series or solitude,
serve a variety of functions. With no obtrusive catches or findings, all elements are carefully considered
and integral to the design, resulting in jewellery which is as pleasing in it's composition as it is in it's

Working mainly in silver with accents of 18ct gold and freshwater pearls, all work is handcrafted by
Jody in her Glasgow based workshop using highly skilled, labour intensive techniques.
